Senior of the Year

Senior of the Year Awards acknowledge and celebrate inspirational Ballarat seniors.

Australian Citizenship Ceremonies

Australian Citizenship ceremonies are administered by the City of Ballarat on behalf of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Ceremonies are held monthly and are open to members of the public.

Youth Awards

The City of Ballarat Youth Awards publicly acknowledge the great work and achievements of young individuals across the region

NAIDOC Recognition Awards

A partnership between the Koorie Engagement Action Group and local Indigenous network. The Ballarat NAIDOC Awards publicly acknowledge individuals and groups who deliver programs/projects/volunteer/show persistence and passion to improve outcomes for Koorie communities in the Ballarat area

Community Safety Awards

The Community Safety Awards are held as part of ‘Community Safety Month’ every October and aim to publicly acknowledge the great work and initiatives of people and organisations to improve the city's safety.

Senior of the Year Awards

The City of Ballarat’s Senior of the Year awards recognise local residents (55 years and older) who have made a significant contribution to the Ballarat community.

Australia Day Community Activity Awards

The Awards are provided by the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) and are administered by Local Government Authorities throughout Australia on behalf of the Council.

Australia Day Citizen of the Year Awards

The City of Ballarat Australia Day Awards are presented to the Ballarat Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year recognising their positive contribution to the local community.

Ballarat Heritage Awards

The Ballarat Heritage Awards recognise those in our community who have demonstrated excellence innovation and best practice in conserving our heritage. These awards are held by the City of Ballarat in partnership with the Ballarat branch of the National Trust of Australia.
