Ballarat Heritage Awards

 

The Ballarat Heritage Awards were first launched in 2010, a key recommendation of the City of Ballarat’sPreserving Our Heritage Strategy. These Awards continue as the leading local heritage recognition program and a priority area in the City’s recently adopted heritage plan, Our People, Culture & Place: A plan to sustain Ballarat’s heritage.

The Awards are held by the City of Ballarat in partnership with the local Ballarat Branch of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria). They provide an opportunity to thank the many dedicated owners, businesses, groups and individuals who work tirelessly to conserve Ballarat's significant heritage.

This year, for the first time, nominations for the Ballarat Heritage Awards 2018 will be made using an online form on the MyTownHall website. Entries open on Monday 19 February and close 5pm on Monday 19 March, 2018.
